DES JUMEAUX DANS LE CARRÉ D’OR

Ugo et Antoine Lecorche, deux jumeaux de 38 ans originaires de Lyon, ont créé leur restaurant en 2015, dans le cœur de Cannes baptisé « La Môme » en hommage à La Môme Moineau, chanteuse de rue des années cinquante, devenue milliardaire et propriétaire de la villa « Bagatelle ». Ils ont réussi le pari d’imaginer un lieu chic, gourmand et décontracté, qui magnifie les saveurs méditerranéennes et italiennes, mis en scène par le Chef Mathieu Gourreau. Les deux frères ont un CV impressionnant : managers d’une brasserie branchée lyonnaise, directeurs du « Sol e Luna » à Saint-Tropez, du célèbre établissement cannois « Le Bâoli » puis de la plage du « Majestic ». Ils appliquent aujourd’hui dans leur restaurant la recette d’une soirée réussie : qualité des produits, service irréprochable, remise en question permanente, proximité avec leur clientèle. On se régale des raviolis farcis au jaune d’oeuf et truffe d’été, des savoureux risotti, du vitello tonnato ou des desserts du chef pâtissier Mathieu Marchand comme la diabolique
« sphère de chocolat Manjari », et on applaudit l’ouverture depuis ce printemps du
« café » mitoyen du restaurant, spécialisé en cocktails et « raw bar » qui distille alcools premiums et cuisine crue ultra fraîche élaborée à la minute derrière le bar central.

Ugo and Antoine Lecorche, 38 year-old twins from Lyon, opened their restaurant “La Môme” in 2015, in the heart of Cannes, in tribute to La Môme Moineau, a street singer in the 1950s who became a millionaire and owner of the “Bagatelle” villa. They have succeeded in creating a chic, gourmet yet relaxed restaurant that exalts Mediterranean and Italian flavours, concocted by the chef Mathieu Gourreau. The two brothers have an impressive CV: managers of a trendy Lyonnais brasserie, managers of the “Sol e Luna” in Saint-Tropez and of the famous Cannes establishment “Le Bâoli”, followed by the Majestic Beach. Today, their challenge is to offer the perfect evening: quality produce, irreproachable service, continual self-reassessment, clientele contact. You’ll love the raviolis stuffed with egg yolk and summer truffle, flavoursome risottos, vitello tonnato and the desserts by the pastry chef Mathieu Marchand, such as the divine “sphère de chocolat Manjari”, and what’s more, since Spring of this year, an adjacent café has been opened, specialising in cocktails and a “raw bar” for great spirits and ultra fresh raw food prepared directly before you at the central bar.
