Slow tourism in Esterel

Between the banks of the Siagne, the mimosa forest of Tanneron, the sublime red rocks and the fine sandy beaches, the Esterel proves to be the ideal place for an eco-responsible stay. From paddle to mountain biking, including swincar, overboat or even e-foil, land and sea are available to you!

Fly in an overboat, sail in an electric boat

New and innovative, the Overboat allows you to glide up to a meter above the water and cruise peacefully along the coastline. This jet ski equipped with foils can be rented for an hour, starting at 16 years old, from Mandelieu. This eco-friendly and quiet excursion offers the chance to discover preserved creeks and coves. Traveling at a speed of 15 knots (about 30 km/h), the Overboat promises a smooth and exhilarating flying sensation!

Also in Mandelieu-la-Napoule, from the Pinéa pontoon, you can opt for a peaceful ride on the Siagne aboard an electric boat that does not require a license. These charming little wooden boats, which meet CE standards, are crafted by artisans and can accommodate up to five adults (or four adults and two children). Several options are available by reservation: a 30-minute or one-hour ride, a breakfast outing with pastries, or an aperitif outing for a uniquely sociable moment.

Surf on an e-foil

With its flying surfboard appearance, the e-foil lets you soar above the Mediterranean. This sensational new activity is 100% electric and environmentally friendly, producing no emissions or noise to protect the marine wildlife. Easy and fun, it's suitable for all skill levels. To try it out, head to the pontoon at Plage des Dauphins in Mandelieu. With its straightforward and quick handling and expert advice, you should be able to fly over the water during your first session!

Scooter on the sea!

Do you know about the 'Blue Way'? This quiet, fun, and entertaining electric sea scooter is the ideal watercraft for a fun and family-friendly ride, even bringing along your dog! Suitable for everyone from the age of five thanks to its easy handling and stability (maximum speed of 7 km/h), Blue Way promises a whole new experience on the waters starting from Agay!

Paddle, row, lofez

More traditional yet timeless, paddleboarding and kayaking are available at various locations. For a change from the coastline, it is equally enjoyable to rent either one on the peaceful Lake Saint-Cassien. You can also try paddlebiking at the Riviera Boat Club in Le Cannet or pedal paddleboarding with the team from Black Tenders in Mandelieu. The more athletic can indulge in a rowing session at the Rowing Club Cannes-Mandelieu. Located on the banks of the Siagne, this club benefits from sea access, allowing for rowing in both fresh and Mediterranean waters... Are you looking for a sailing sport (optimist, catamaran, windsurfing, etc.)? Then head over to the Nautical Center Les Voiles de Lérins!

Pedal through the canyons or the vineyards

If you prefer to keep your feet on solid ground, hiking or mountain biking in the Estérel offers some delightful surprises. With its 400 kilometers of marked trails, this massif is a paradise for hikers and mountain bikers! Through its stunning red rocks that stretch from the Alpes-Maritimes to the Var, you'll find yourself in canyons reminiscent of the American Colorado. With an electric mountain bike, you can reach the summit of this geological and botanical treasure, enjoying a breathtaking view over the Mediterranean Sea. Rentals are available from Mandelieu and Agay. Also, from Les Adrets de l’Estérel, you can head to the forest house of La Duchesse before reaching the Pelet summit with its stunning panorama of the Southern Alps and the Gulf of Saint-Tropez.

In Saint-Raphaël, under the "Vineyards & Discoveries" label, Watt Bike and Domaine Terres Destel offer a half-day electric bike tour with a guide providing a 360° panorama of the Estérel and a tasting session amid the vineyards and the Mediterranean... The Tanneron Massif, well-known for its mimosa forest (which blooms yellow from January to March), is also a must-see!

Drive a buggy or a swincar

After quad biking, discover the electric buggy and the swincar! These quiet electric vehicles allow you to explore the Estérel Massif with ease. Les Bronzés du Nord in Puget-sur-Argens and Esterel Adventures in Saint-Raphaël offer 1.5 to 2-hour rides in these all-terrain, four-wheel drive vehicles. Expect new sensations and breathtaking landscapes!
