Between the banks of the Siagne, the mimosa forest of Tanneron, the sublime red rocks and the fine sandy beaches, the Esterel proves to be the ideal place for an eco-responsible stay. From paddle to mountain biking, including swincar, overboat or even e-foil, land and sea are available to you!
Fly in an overboat, sail in an electric boat
New and unusual, the overboat allows you to glide up to one meter above the water and sail peacefully along the coastline. This water scooter equipped with foils can be rented for one hour, from the age of 16, from Mandelieu. This ecological and silent excursion will allow you to discover the preserved coves and calanques. At a speed of 15 knots (about 30km/h), the overboat promises beautiful and smooth flying sensations!
Also in Mandelieu-la-Napoule, departing from the Pinéa pontoon, you can opt for a peaceful stroll on the Siagne river aboard an electric boat without a license. These charming little wooden boats, to CE standards, are made by artisans and can accommodate up to five adults (or four adults and two children). Several options are available upon reservation: a 30-minute or one-hour stroll, breakfast outing with pastries or aperitif outing for an original moment of sharing.
Surf on an e-foil
With its flying surf look, the e-foil allows you to fly over the Mediterranean. This new sensational 100% electric activity is environmentally friendly, with no emissions or noise to respect underwater fauna. Easy and fun, it is suitable for all levels. To test it out, go to the pontoon at the Dolphin Beach in Mandelieu. Thanks to a quick and easy handling and the advice of the experts, you should be able to fly over the water from your first session!
Scooter on the sea!

Paddle, row, lofez
More classic, but timeless, paddle boarding and kayaking are offered in various places. To change the coastline a bit, it is just as pleasant to rent one or the other on the peaceful Lac de Saint-Cassien. You can also try paddlebiking at the Riviera Boat Club in Le Cannet or paddleboarding with the Black Tenders team in Mandelieu. The more sporty can also enjoy a rowing session at the Rowing Club Cannes-Mandelieu. Located on the banks of Siagne, the latter has access to the sea allowing you to row both in fresh water and on the Mediterranean... Pedal through the canyons or the vineyards
If you prefer to keep your feet on the ground, hiking or mountain biking tours have nice surprises in store for you in Esterel. With its 400 kilometers of marked trails, this massif is a paradise for hikers and mountain bikers! Through its sublime red rocks connecting the Alpes-Maritimes to the Var, you will evolve in canyons that look like American Colorado. With an electric mountain bike, you can reach the top of this geological and botanical treasure while enjoying a breathtaking view overlooking the big blue sea. Rentals are available from Mandelieu and Agay. Also, from Les Adrets de l'Estérel, you can reach the Duchesse's forest house before reaching the Pelet summit and its breathtaking panorama of the Southern Alps and the Gulf of Saint-Tropez.
In Saint-Raphaël, under the “Vignobles & Décoveries” label, Watt Bike and Domaine Terres Destel offer you a half-day electric bike ride accompanied by a guide offering a 360° panorama of the Esterel and a one-on-one tasting with the vineyards and the Mediterranean... The Tanneron Massif, well known for its mimosa forest (which turns yellow from January to March), is also a must!
