The inaugural edition of the Nice Tragedy Festival, the first tragedy festival in France, developed by the director of the Théâtre National de Nice, Muriel Mayette Holtz, takes place in the ancient setting of the amphitheater of the Roman arenas in Cimiez, erected at 1 century. A highly emotional rendezvous with Phèdre, Helene after the Fall, Our Homer, Calek played by Charles Berling, and Andromaque by Racine, by Stéphane Braunschweig. Around the festival, evenings of more intimate, but always dense readings are organized, celebrating the sacred energy of feelings.
