African Queen
The iconic address of Beaulieu-sur-Mer, created in 1969, is regaining its splendor thanks to the trio of Monegasque friends and serial restaurateurs, Riccardo Giraudi, Philippe Schriqui and Patrick Gioannini. The address, propelled to the skies by Gilbert Vissian, was the meeting place for the happy few of the French Riviera. Fans of Nice salads mixed at the table, wood-fired truffle pizzas or rum babas are delighted, because the place preserves its signature dishes, and adds new tasty recipes. The design is by Humbert & Poyet, and takes us back to the 1970s, in an aura of freedom in an ethnic style, enhanced by a bright veranda.
