Monte Carlo Beach
The SBM seaside palace with its terracotta facade, created in the 1930s, and renovated by the star architect India Mahdavi, reopens its doors this summer with a new chef at the head of the gastronomic restaurant Elsa: Marcel Ravin, already twice Michelin-starred in Monte-Carlo Bay. Pascal Garrigues signs the La Vigie card, the hotel club, on the seafront. At the edge of the beach, the white and lemon yellow striped canvas cabins, tents and deckchairs on the legendary pontoon, offer the choice of lounging or jumping into the Olympic seawater pool from its mythical Art Deco diving board! This chic hideaway, immortalized by Helmut Newton's solar photos, seems timeless.
Good to know
- The gourmet restaurant Elsa is a signatory of the Mr. Goodfish charter, which promotes more responsible consumption of seafood.
- The Club La Vigie evolves with, in addition to the restaurant, a lounge bar and a sun area with sun beds and cabins, set to music by a DJ.
- The kids club is managed by Petit VIP, a 5-star children's club: Oscar ceremony, Olympic medals, shows... Just like the big ones, only more fun!
