Trésors Publics

-

After having crisscrossed France in search of the most beautiful products and know-how of French heritage, Antoine Bourassin and Nicolas Barbero opened their store to carmine-red woodwork and the mischievous name, “Trésors Publics”, now located at 18, rue de la Préfecture in Nice. Once you have crossed the magnificent mosaic threshold, you have entered a comforting era, where time no longer has a hold, in an impeccable diorama. The best tableware products, groceries, stationery, ready-to-wear, skincare, perfumery, and the thousand objects that never die from historic French factories are there, like a wonderful Madeleine by Proust.

Good to know

  • Nicolas and Antoine are constantly exploring France to find the best artisans, workshops and industries of excellence in order to fill their shelves with curiosities of all kinds.

  • Among the store's cult references, the famous wicker basket worn by Jane Birkin made exclusively for the store in Périgord, the Bleu de Travail TP, the mythical K.Jacques Tropezian sandals, the ceramics of Maison Pichon Uzès, or even Cléopâtre glue with a delicious almond scent.

  • The former address of “Trésors Publics”, at 1, rue de la Lumière, is part of the history of Nice for its remarkable architectural details. A space dedicated to the rarest French know-how will soon be unveiled there.
