Philippe Tayac
After working at the biggest hotels - Negresco in Nice, L'Apogée in Courchevel, Château Saint-Martin & Spa in Vence, Eden Rock and Cheval Blanc in Saint-Barth, the 32-year-old pastry chef prodigy, Philippe Tayac, opened his own pastry shop in Nice in 2021, in a luxurious contemporary setting recalling his Indonesian origins. His signatures? The exotic Pavlova, the New York Roll, the Crookie, the famous cookie croissant, or the hazelnut gianduja puff pastry to die for! After a second store opened in the prestigious Corso of the CAP 3000 shopping center in Saint-Laurent-du-Var, the chef has just opened his tea room in Cannes, where his exquisite sweets are combined with a savory menu for a chic lunch.
