Jules Chéret Museum of Fine Arts

To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the birth of the Impressionist movement, the Jules Chéret Museum of Fine Arts is devoting a leading exhibition to Berthe Morisot, the first woman to have participated in Impressionist exhibitions. The museum explores moments in the painter's life and creation, bringing together for the first time around sixty of her works created on the Riviera, and unveiling paintings by Claude Monet and Auguste Renoir, who were also present on the Mediterranean coast at the same period, and won over by its brilliant environment.
