Paloma Beach
Turquoise water and lush surroundings have made Paloma Beach Cove, built in 1948, the most popular beach in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. Sean Connery, George Clooney or Prince Albert II took the famous stairs that lead to Scaletta Cove with a remarkable view of the cliffs of Beaulieu-sur-Mer and Èze. The Vannini family knew how to transform this natural jewel into a chill and gourmet refuge, romantic and timeless. On the menu, grilled fish is served alongside zucchini flower fritters or ultra-tasty lobster salad. Ask for valet parking by Piaggio Calessino scooter or by Volkswagen Combi, which will take you from the center of the peninsula to the beach.
Good to know
- It was Paloma Picasso, the artist's daughter, who inspired the name of the beach, because she came there every summer with her father, far from the hustle and bustle of the French Riviera.
- Numerous aquatic activities are offered: paddle boarding, water skiing, towed buoy, parachute, foil, wakesurf, jet ski and wakeboarding.
- The beach was used as the setting for several sequences in the third part of the movie 50 Shades of Grey, with Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan, and in the series Emily in Paris.
