The future port Camille Rayon

An essential and strategic stopover for all boaters on the Côte d'Azur, the Camille Rayon port in Vallauris Golfe-Juan will be modernized with the arrival of major investments and new partners.

Ideally located in the heart of the Mediterranean coast and well known to boaters, the Camille Rayon Vallauris Golfe-Juan port now has some 841 berths and accommodates units with a length of between 6 and 75 meters. Built in 1989, this perfectly sheltered stopover is located near unmissable destinations, such as the Lérins Islands, Cannes, Antibes and the Esterel Massif, all within an hour of sailing. Last July, D-Marin was officially handed over the keys to the Camille Rayon port following a decision by the City Council to award the operating and redevelopment concession to this Athens-based company that operates several marinas and marinas around the world. In fact, D-Marin now manages 27 marinas in the United Arab Emirates, Croatia, France, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Italy, Albania and Malta, with nearly 14,000 berths and dry docking locations that can accommodate more than 3,000 boats.

The company plans to modernise the marina with investments of around 52 million euros over 25 years, devoted to its renovation and installations. ”D-Marin will equip Camille Rayon with cutting-edge digital technologies to offer a high quality service to users. In accordance with its CSR strategy, D-Marin will ensure that all investments and improvements are sustainable and are part of a constant search for the protection of the environment and biodiversity”, details the marina operator. Concretely, the lake will evolve from 838 places currently to 859 places, starting in 2026, offering 633 places in categories less than or equal to 12 meters, 157 in categories between 12 and 20 meters and 69 places in categories greater than 20 meters with facilities to accommodate very large units. At the Quai d'Honneur, all the buildings and the harbor master's office will be renovated. At the North Quay, a new underground car park will also be created at the same time as the creation of a vast green park to the west and a garden to the east, not to mention other major developments all around the port...

To carry out this renovation, the company called on the expertise of the architect Rudy Ricciotti from Bouygues Construction and the Arcadis design office. MB92 La Ciotat, a world leader in superyacht refits, also announced the resumption of activities at the Golfe-Juan shipyard. This renovation and maintenance site, with an area of 9,000 m², will be capable of accommodating yachts up to 45 meters. ”Our ambition at Golfe-Juan is to provide the same level of quality and attention to detail that MB92 is recognized for globally, drawing on our experience in maintaining yachts under 50 meters. We are convinced that Golfe-Juan will quickly become a dynamic and attractive site, offering a personalized and flexible experience, like the one we offer in La Ciotat with our 300 ton site 'Origins'” said Rob Papworth, CEO of MB92 La Ciotat.
